On April 22, 2016 at Sundown, the Jews observe the annual Passover. Jews world over will celebrate an event in their history that took place just before their Exodus from Egypt.
Find a Bible and read the first few chapters of "Exodus." Start at the beginning, or at least with chapter 7 (the ten plagues). Then when you reach chapter 13 you will read of the first Passover. The Jewish nation has so celebrated this day each year on 14th day of Abib, the first month of their calendar year. They will kill a small lamb, roast it and eat all of it. This is to set aside their first born son unto the Lord. The Israelites all lived that night. All the first born male Egyptians, both man and animal died that night.
The LORD said to Moses, "Consecrate to me every firstborn male. The first offspring of every womb among the Israelites belongs to me, whether man or animal." -- Exodus 13:1-2 (NIV)
As a Christian, what does this mean to me? "
May God bless each of you!
